¹Eligibility

Offer valid to select Scotia iTRADE clients who are members of Scene+ loyalty rewards program and who have received an email from Scotiabank. Customers can enroll in this offer by entering their Scene+ membership number, first name, last name, and email address by visiting this page. Enrolled email address must be the same as Scotia iTRADE account/s primary email address.

This is a limited time offer and enrolled clients will be eligible to redeem Scene+ points from their Scene+ account to pay the commissions on Stock and ETF trades and to pay base commission on Options trades in their Scotia iTRADE accounts between 19th October 2023 and 20th November 2023.

²Redeeming Scene+ Points

There are 3 redemption options available to clients:

Redeem 1,000 Scene+ points for 1 commission-free trade
Redeem 3,000 Scene+ points for 3 commission-free trades
Redeem 5,000 Scene+ points for 5 commission-free trades

Customers must have the required number of Scene+ points in their Scene+ account at the time of each redemption.

The trades with commissions paid by redeemed Scene+ points will become available to utilize in clients’ Scotia iTRADE accounts within 2 business days from the date of the redemption.

The trades with commissions paid by redeemed Scene+ points should be utilized within 12 months from the date of the redemption. Trades not utilized within this period will expire.

Scene+ Account Balance

Your Scene+ points balance in your Scene+ account will be reduced by the number of Scene+ points required to pay the commission for the desired number of trades.

There will be a delay of 4-6 weeks between the time the points are redeemed to pay for trade commissions and the time the points are debited in your Scene+ account. Scotia iTRADE reserves the right to charge clients full trading commission for trades if their Scene+ account does not have the SCENE+ points balance required to pay for the trade commissions at the time of debit.

Other Conditions

This offer is not transferrable and has no cash redemption value. Scene+ points redeemed to pay for trade commissions are not eligible for returns and refunds of clients Scene+ Points and/or credit to clients Scotia iTRADE account. Any request to enroll received after November 20th, 2023, will not qualify for this offer.
